Protect the original paint — or change the look with the right film. Self-healing PPF against stone chips and abrasion, and premium wraps for a whole new finish, fitted at JustCars Almancil.
After 17 years around paint, my position is simple: film is the only thing that actually stops stone chips — ceramic and wax never will. If the car matters to you, protect the impact zones with PPF first and choose the gloss story afterwards.
Tell us the car and what's bothering you. The fixed price only comes after we've seen it in person — never blind, never over a photo.
On arrival we assess the paint honestly and walk you through the real options, then agree the package that genuinely fits — yours, not the most expensive one.
You get the exact scope, the final price and the completion date before a single tool comes out.
The car is our responsibility from the moment it arrives, and it leaves clean, checked and exactly as promised.
We buy the material the result demands, not the one that protects a margin. Every job runs on professional tools and genuine, name-brand products — the films, coatings, compounds, leathers and parts we'd choose for our own cars. Where a job honestly doesn't need the most expensive option, we'll tell you — but we never quietly downgrade the material to win a price.
This service is backed by a real warranty. What it covers depends on the material, the manufacturer and the parts or work involved — and we confirm the exact terms before we start. Your invoice itself stands as your guarantee; if you want a formal written certificate, we draw one up by contract on request. We always push for the longest honest warranty your car and its materials can carry.
JustCars competes on one thing — the result. Not the lowest price, not the loudest promise, but the finished car and everything standing behind it.
Real reviews, real clients, real cars handed back. Our standard is something you can see — not something we ask you to take on faith.
For each car we choose the right material, method and depth of work, so the result is the best that car can honestly carry — never a shortcut to protect a margin.
If a problem comes up, we solve it — quickly and without excuses, and all the more so when it's on us. We don't look away from a car we've worked on.
We treat your car the way we'd treat our own. That attitude is why the work holds up, and why our clients come back.

We look after cars across the Algarve's golden triangle — Vale do Lobo, Quinta do Lago, Vilamoura and Almancil — from our two workshops in Almancil and Loulé. For the right project, we'll collect the car and bring it back.

They do different jobs. PPF is a thick, self-healing film that physically stops stone chips and scratches; ceramic is a micron-thin layer for gloss and easy cleaning. Plenty of cars get both — we'll tell you honestly where each is worth it on yours.
STEK film carries a 10-year manufacturer material warranty, and our installation work is covered for 1 year. The warranty stays valid with the 3-monthly care wash, which we set up with you.
No. Full-body gives the most protection and best resale value, but filming just the high-impact zones — bumper, bonnet, mirrors — with ceramic on the rest is a smart, lower-budget option. We advise based on how you actually use the car.
Yes — a coloured or hybrid PPF gives you a new finish and real stone-chip protection in one film, and it's reversible. A standard vinyl wrap changes the look; PPF is what adds the armour underneath.
PPF can be washed right away — just keep the pressure lance away from panel edges for the first weeks so you don't lift an edge. A vinyl colour wrap is different: give it about two weeks before its first wash.
Book the inspection and tell us the car — we come back with scope, timing and a fixed price.
PPF · Wrap · Colour change
Every finish we wrap — gloss, satin, matte, metallic and colour-shift — on one car, in our studio.
The JustCars team holds professional certificates in PPF, wrapping and film installation, including WRAP Institute training. We use certified process, premium materials and can show the physical certificates when needed.
Expert view
People ask me weekly whether they should choose PPF, ceramic coating or a wrap, as if they were three versions of the same product. They are not. PPF is physical armour: a self-healing polyurethane layer that absorbs the stone chips, sand and road debris the Algarve throws at a front end. Ceramic is chemistry — gloss, hydrophobics and easier washing, but zero impact protection. A vinyl wrap is a colour change with only light incidental protection. Confusing these three is the most expensive misunderstanding in car care.
Two professional boundaries I insist on. First: PPF never goes over fresh paint before roughly three weeks of curing — film locks solvents inside uncured lacquer and the coating will release. A shop that wraps a freshly painted panel the same week is working against the paint, not for it. Second: bubbles and a damp haze in the first two weeks after installation are the normal evaporation phase of the mounting fluid, not a defect — which is exactly why our process includes a control inspection instead of pretending the film is untouchable from day one.
We install STEK film — ceramic-coated from the factory — as a certified centre, and back it with the 10-year manufacturer warranty plus our own 1-year installation warranty. Matte PPF, colour films and matte-on-matte are all real options you can see as physical samples in the studio, not a catalogue promise.
