The approach roads to Vale do Lobo — including the Avenida do Farol and the sandy lanes running between the resort villas — carry fine sand and salt-laden air that settle on paintwork far more aggressively than inland environments. A car parked at the beach club or outside a villa picks up salt residue on every surface. On a darker-coloured car, this shows as bonding to the clear coat and dull, rough patches over time.
Stone chips are the other factor. The approach roads to Vale do Lobo connect to the N125 and the Almancil bypass, both of which carry heavy traffic and the associated stone debris. Front panels, bonnets and wings bear the main impact.
PPF provides a physical layer of defence that neither wax nor ceramic coating can replicate — because it is thick enough to absorb the stone impact rather than being penetrated by it.

We inspect the car first: we read the existing paint, measure the surface where useful, and recommend the right film and coverage honestly. Full-body PPF from €6,000. Front and partial PPF starts from €1,500; front PPF with ceramic starts from around €2,500. Headlight PPF is €125 per headlight / €250 per pair — protecting the headlights that are most exposed in beach-side parking conditions. Every quote is fixed after inspection, not before.
The premium STEK and equivalent films we use are self-healing. Light surface marring — from brushes, automatic carwashes or sandy towels — recovers with heat. The Algarve sun provides that.
