Window tint in Portugal is a legal question as much as a comfort one — fit the wrong film and the next inspection fails. Portugal keeps an approved list of films that can be legalised — that's where we start. We take the car in, listen to what you want from the tint, fit a film from the approved list and issue its certificate. Then the car passes the extraordinary inspection and receives updated documents. Our registration service is €350 flat and sits on top of the fitting — we run the whole chain for you, and that €350 covers everything — the inspection and the IMT fee are inside it, with nothing added afterwards. It only works with a legal film: an illegal one cannot be legalised at any price. You drive away legal, not hoping.

The Algarve sun is the real argument: quality solar film cuts a serious share of heat entering the cabin and blocks the UV that fades leather, cracks dashboards and ages upholstery — the same UV logic that makes ceramic and PPF earn their keep outside. Rear passengers, kids and dogs feel the difference on day one; the A/C works less; the interior lives longer.
Darker rear glass adds privacy for resort parking. The front is a different question, and the honest answer disappoints most people who ask: by law the windscreen and both front side windows must keep at least 70% light transmission, and most cars already leave the factory at roughly that level — so there is no headroom left to darken the front. What we do fit there is a clear thermal film that cuts UV and heat without changing how the glass reads. The windscreen we advise against altogether, and we go through the reasons with you at the car rather than in a web page. Everything else — which film, which shade, what it will really do on your car — is decided at the assessment, in front of the glass. And since film is film: the same studio fits PPF, colour films and vinyl wraps, so a tint often rides along with a bigger protection project in one visit.

No — this is the misunderstanding we correct most often. €350 covers the REAR zone: rear doors, rear quarter glass and tailgate. The whole car is €650. And confusingly, €350 is also what our separate legalisation service costs — two different services, two payments, never one blended figure.
