Vale do Lobo is a resort where the car gets used differently from an urban context. A few days of beach trips loads the footwells with fine sand that reaches the seat runners, the carpet edges and the door pockets. Damp swimwear left on seats leaves tide marks on leather. Air conditioning cycled against the sea breeze deposits salt particles in the cabin vents.
A proper interior detail addresses each surface correctly: leather cleaned and conditioned to prevent cracking in the heat, plastics and vents dedusted, carpets and mats cleaned, glass interior polished for visibility.

A significant number of cars at Vale do Lobo are convertibles. Soft tops accumulate salt, bird deposits and light mould if left closed and damp for extended periods. They require a specific wash approach — dedicated convertible-roof products, lower pressure, and careful drying — rather than the standard bodywork wash process.
We wash convertible tops as part of our standard service using the right chemistry for the roof material. If the roof has mould, algae or significant staining, we assess the condition first and confirm what is achievable before committing to a price.
The 3-hour detailed wash (€150) covers exterior and interior in full — the right starting point for Vale do Lobo maintenance. The 8-hour deep wash (€300) is for cars that have sat through a season and need comprehensive attention throughout. Pre-sale preparation (from €450) readies the car for photographs and viewings with wash, light polish, full interior and glass.
