The recurring interior question is leather: repair, repaint or re-trim? My professional preference is clear — where the material is genuinely worn, re-trimming beats re-colouring. A colour change over tired leather is technically possible and we can do it, but new upholstery is better and more durable for comparable money, and it carries a real guarantee. Cosmetic touch-ups have their place — a scuffed bolster, a small scratch — as long as everyone understands the old material around the repair keeps ageing. We say that out loud before the work, not in the small print.
On smells, my position is equally firm: ozone treatment is a tool, not a solution. If the source — spilled milk, damp carpet, mould — stays in the car, the smell returns in a fortnight. We remove the cause first, then neutralise. The same first-principles approach covers the hard cases: flood and mould interiors, which we do take on, from €1,000 depending on damage.
Practical detail owners appreciate: after a deep interior clean the car is handed back dry — extraction, drying, done. In wet season you may feel residual coolness for a day or two; that is humidity in the air, not water in your seats.
