JustCars grew from a single detailing bench into the Algarve's end-to-end car studio — a team, a standard that never changes hands, and a name registered as a trademark in Portugal and across the EU.
Today that means two studios — Almancil for detailing, protection, ceramic and paint correction; Loulé for RestorFX restoration, painting and the mechanical workshop — one team across both, and one standard that never changes hands.
The cars this coast is known for — Quinta do Lago, Vale do Lobo, Vilamoura — end up here because their owners want one thing: somebody who takes the whole problem and answers for the whole result.
We know what a car you leave with us is worth. A single seat in a supercar costs as much as a small car, a steering wheel as much as a used one, and one wrong move costs not money but trust. So there's no room for carelessness here: both our studios are insured, and while your car is with us it's our responsibility, entirely. Not one leaves with a flaw. That isn't a line for a website — it's the standard we won't work below. And if something does go wrong, we fix it quickly and without excuses, all the more when the fault is ours.
The easy thing is to write a long invoice. We do the opposite: first we look at the car honestly and tell you what it actually needs — and what it doesn't. If a service isn't for you, you'll hear it from us, not after you've paid. And we always look for the right way, not the priciest: we've closed a €1,500 replacement with a €12 part, simply because we bothered to think instead of swapping the whole unit for a new one. The price and the date are fixed before any work starts, once we've seen the car — we never quote blind.
Anyone can put a shine on a car — the question is what's under it. We never polish without measuring the clear coat with a gauge; never lay film over stone chips or rust; never coat a surface that hasn't been prepared. And for us, care is also your safety: the wrong product on glass steals your visibility at night and in the rain, a slick dressing on the wheel pulls your hand at the worst moment, and whatever we treat the cabin with, you go on to breathe every day — you and your children. So there's no “cheap kit” here: only proven, certified products, each matched to its surface. Not because it costs more, but because there's no other honest way.
You won't have to piece the work together or keep track of several tradesmen. One name, one conversation, one responsibility — from protection and detailing to restoration, bodywork and servicing. We'll collect the car and return it within 15 km of the Almancil and Loulé studios; where a specialist is needed, we manage and check the work ourselves — it never leaves our watch. You won't need to inspect the car under a loupe or a floodlight: we've already done that for you, and taken it as far as it can honestly go. One honest thing: a car that hasn't been washed in two years won't become the one we keep every fortnight — that's physics, not effort.
This work can't be done without loving cars — no wage makes anyone do it. It's hours bent over a cabin after dogs and mud, polishing one panel hour after hour, laying film for days on end when hands and backs already ache. It's never all smooth. It all rests on people who have that spark — and it can't be forced into anyone or bought. We're a team, and our best reward isn't the number of cars but the few hundred clients who come back to us again and again. We keep the finished car hidden until the last minute and reveal it all at once — for that second when someone looks at their car and falls quiet. That's what all of it is for.
We buy the material the result demands, not the one that protects a margin. Every job runs on professional tools and genuine, name-brand products — the films, coatings, compounds, leathers and parts we'd choose for our own cars. Where a job honestly doesn't need the most expensive option, we'll tell you — but we never quietly downgrade the material to win a price.
