Three forces act on a car here that most of Europe only meets in summer. Ultraviolet at near-desert intensity fades and micro-cracks unprotected lacquer. Salt air — not just at the marina, but kilometres inland — accelerates oxidation on every chip and scratch it finds open. And the gravel: the A22, the N125 and every freshly-dressed rural shoulder throw stone chips at the front of the car for eleven months a year.
Paint protection film answers all three physically. The polyurethane layer absorbs stone impacts instead of collecting them, the self-healing top-coat closes swirl marks and light scratches in the sun's own heat, and the film takes the UV and salt assault so the factory paint underneath stays sealed. It is the one protection that works while the car is parked outside a villa as hard as it works at 120 on the motorway.

JustCars is STEK-certified — physical certificates, shown on request — and the certification is a method, not a sticker: paint decontaminated and inspected before a single panel is filmed, pre-cut patterns for your exact model, and edges wrapped around the panel rather than trimmed on the paint, so wash pressure and beach sand never find a lifting corner.
The work happens in a dedicated protection studio in Almancil, with the JustCars workshop in Loulé handling anything the car needs first — paint correction, RestorFX restoration, bodywork. Both premises are insured while your car is inside. Matte, colour and clear self-healing films are all fitted here, with physical samples to hold against your own paint before you decide.
Our pricing is on the table before you ask: selected zones from €1,500, a front package with ceramic coating from around €2,500, full-body from €6,000 depending on the car, plus headlight PPF for LED, Matrix and Laser optics. The final figure is fixed only after inspecting your car — never blind over the phone. Afterwards, a €150 care wash every three months keeps the film warranty alive.
