Every trip from Albufeira along the A22 sends grit at the front of the car. Paint protection film is the layer that takes the chip instead of the paint. JustCars fits STEK film as certified installers at the Almancil studio, about 25–30 minutes away: partial front coverage from €1,500, full body from €6,000, with a 10-year STEK film warranty plus 1 year on our installation.
Motorway grit, gravel at the edges of the EN roads, the lorry in front on the A22 — chips gather on the bumper, bonnet, wings and mirrors first. Film is a thick, self-healing layer that physically absorbs those hits. A ceramic coating cannot do that: it gives gloss and easy washing, not chip protection.
Partial front coverage protects the panels that take the hits; full-body film protects everything. €1,500 is the entry point for a partial front — the final figure depends on the car, the size of its panels and what else it needs, and we confirm it after the inspection, before any work starts.

STEK film carries a 10-year manufacturer warranty on the material, and we add 1 year on our installation. The routine that supports it is a care wash every three months — the 3-hour detailed wash at €150, or €75 for Care Club members.
Film can be washed straight away; for the first weeks just keep high-pressure jets away from the edges. Matte film is available, and colour films can be chosen from samples at the studio.
A freshly repainted panel needs at least three weeks before film goes on — otherwise the film traps the solvents and lifts. Factory paint has no such wait. And think about the far end of the film's life: premium film comes off cleanly under heat, usually in one to two days, leaving the paint intact; cheap film can come off badly and take paint down to the primer.
Headlights are worth covering too: headlight PPF is €125 for one or €250 for the pair.
There is no JustCars studio in Albufeira — film is fitted indoors at Almancil, in a clean bay, and that is not something that can be done on a driveway. The drive is about 25–30 minutes by the A22.
