Albufeira cars live close to the sea: sun on the paint all day, salt in the air, calima dust on the wind. A ceramic coating gives the paint deep gloss and a hydrophobic surface that makes all of that easier to wash off. At the JustCars studio in Almancil, about 25–30 minutes away, packages are €1,000, €1,500 and €2,000; the coatings last two years with a care wash every three months, and long-life coatings up to eight years are available for about €500–600 more.
The €1,000 package is the base: machine polishing and a ceramic coating for the body. €1,500 adds interior work and a stronger coating. €2,000 extends protection to the glass and wheels. You don't have to pick a tier from a website — we look at the paint first and recommend the level that suits the car.

Prices are approximate. The final price is confirmed only after we inspect the car.
A coating locks in the surface it goes onto — swirls included. So every ceramic project starts with the paint measured by a depth gauge, then corrected, and only then coated. The gauge reading decides how much polishing the paint can safely take.
Ceramic is not chip protection — that is the job of paint protection film. What it does well is gloss, UV resistance and a surface that sheds water, salt and dust, so the car comes clean faster and with less contact.
In the first week after coating it's best not to wash the car; if it must be washed, gently and without brushes. Brushes are off-limits on a coated car for good.
The two-year life of the coating assumes a care wash every three months: the 3-hour detailed wash, €150, or €75 with the Care Club. Between visits the coastal rules apply — wash more often with proper products, keep plastics and rubber seals conditioned, garage the car when you can, and rinse calima off with water early, never by rubbing.
