Swirls, holograms and the dull veil that strong sun shows on dark paint are removed by machine polishing — not hidden under a glaze. JustCars polishes at its studios in Almancil and Loulé, for cars from anywhere between Faro and Vilamoura: three published levels at €250, €450 and €600, a paint-depth gauge before every polish, and two to three days in the studio.
The basic shine polish (€250) refreshes the gloss and lifts dullness. The standard refresh polish (€450) visibly improves the appearance — but it is not a preparation for ceramic. The top three-phase polish (€600) is the stronger correction, closer to ceramic-ready.

Prices are approximate. The final price is confirmed only after we inspect the car.
First a full wash and decontamination, so nothing gritty is ground into the paint. Then the depth gauge: we measure the clear coat, find earlier repaints and set how much cutting each panel can safely take. A test section shows which pad and compound the paint responds to.
Then the polishing itself, in stages — cut, refine, finish — never removing more than the defect needs, and checked under inspection light panel by panel. The work takes two to three days; afterwards the result can be sealed with ceramic or film if you want it to last.
A scratch that has gone through the clear coat can't be polished away — it needs paint, and we will say so. Clear coat that is tired and oxidised across the whole car may be better served by RestorFX restoration at our Loulé studio, the official RestorFX centre. And matte paint or matte film must never be polished at all.
Sometimes the honest answer is simpler still: paint in good condition only needs a proper wash.
A slot for polishing usually opens from the next day to about a week ahead, depending on the queue, and the car stays with us two to three days. The inspection at the studio is free, and photos are optional. Care Club members get −20% on polishing and paint correction.
