The Loulé studio is the official RestorFX paint-restoration centre of the region — which changes how a ceramic coating starts here. Before anything is locked in, the paint is measured with a depth gauge, corrected or chemically restored where the lacquer asks for it, and only then coated: packages from €1,000 to €2,000, published, with long-life coatings up to eight years on request.
A ceramic coating is a seal: it locks in whatever sits underneath it, good or bad. Coat over swirl marks and oxidation and you have preserved swirl marks and oxidation — brilliantly — for years. That is why every project in the Loulé studio opens with a paint-depth gauge, panel by panel, before a polisher ever spins: the measurement tells us how much lacquer there is to work with and how much correction the paint can honestly take.
Only after correction does the coating go on, in controlled studio conditions with proper light. It is a slower way to sell a coating and the only way we know to sell one that still looks right in year three.

Algarve sun retires lacquer early: dull, hazy, chalky paint that no amount of product will make deep again. In most studios that conversation ends with a respray quote. In Loulé it doesn't have to — this building is the official RestorFX centre of the region, and chemical paint restoration often brings a tired finish back without repainting a single panel.
That is the honest sequence for a sun-worn car: measure, restore or correct, then coat. The coating then protects a finish worth protecting — instead of embalming one that was already gone.
The market quotes ceramic at wildly different numbers because it sells wildly different things — a same-day layer over the paint's current state is one service, a studio project with gauge-guided machine correction is another. Three packages: €1,000 for the bodywork coating, €1,500 for the most-chosen package, €2,000 for the complete treatment including glass and wheels — protection up to two years, applied as a certified installation of our house system ClearFX (RestorFX). Long-life coatings up to eight years add €500–600, on request.

Measure first, always. Often the right answer is RestorFX chemical restoration — done in this same Loulé building, the region's official centre — and only then ceramic. Coating over dead lacquer is money spent preserving a problem.
