Buyers decide fast, and they decide on condition. Pre-sale preparation at JustCars — from €450 — shows the car you're selling in its best honest light: washed properly, polished, interior reset, headlights and wheels brought back, photographed ready for the listing. It usually pays for itself in the asking price. Buyers bring our pre-purchase inspection to the deal; sellers bring preparation — the two honest sides of the same handshake.
Wash, polish, interior, headlights, wheels and photos to sell the car.
For cars coming out of hard use — upholstery, vents, arches, engine bay where safe.
Single-stage machine polish that lifts gloss and clears light swirls where full correction isn't needed.
Anchors for a standard car — the exact pre-sale scope and price are confirmed at inspection.
A car for sale is judged in the first minute — the paint in the photos, the smell of the interior on the test drive, the headlights that quietly date it. Preparation moves each of those in your favour before the listing goes up, and the arithmetic tends to work: honest preparation typically defends more than it costs in the negotiation, because a presented car gives the buyer fewer reasons to argue the price down.
We're honest about the limits, too. Preparation presents the car — it doesn't rewrite it. We'll tell you what's worth doing before the listing and what isn't, and we won't dress a car to hide what any serious buyer's inspection would find in minutes.

“I prepare cars for sellers and inspect cars for buyers, and the two jobs keep each other honest — I will never dress a car past what my own depth gauge would find the next morning.”

The preparation from €450 is the wash side at full depth plus the selling touches: exterior washed with the late-contact method, polish where the paint asks for it, interior reset, headlights revived, wheels detailed, and the car photographed ready for the listing. Cars coming out of hard use start with the €300 eight-hour deep clean; where the paint deserves more, a one-step gloss enhancement from €300 — or full correction — is weighed honestly against what it actually returns on your car and asking price.
For marina and resort sales — Vilamoura, Quinta do Lago, Vale do Lobo — collection is free within 15 km of the studios, the car is insured while it's with us, and the turnaround is agreed around your listing plans.
The other half of our sale work is done for buyers: the pre-purchase inspection, where electronics, mechanics and paint depth are read before money moves. Selling a prepared car into that world is an advantage — a genuinely sorted car has nothing to fear from a depth gauge, and a seller who presents one signals exactly that.
If your buyer wants an independent check, point them to it. A prepared car and an inspected car close faster, at a price both sides believe — which is the whole point of doing either.
Usually yes — presentation defends the asking price on a modest car as surely as on an expensive one. The honest exception is a car headed for trade-in at a fixed dealer price, where we'll tell you to save the money. Ask us with photos; the advice costs nothing.
Wash, polish, interior, headlights, wheels and photos to sell the car — scoped honestly on the car's condition. A neglected car may need the €300 deep clean first; paint that deserves more can take a gloss-enhancement polish from €300. We agree the scope before starting.
The opposite: we do those inspections ourselves for buyers, so we know exactly what a prepared car looks like under one. Preparation is presentation, not disguise — a sorted, prepared car passes a depth gauge and a diagnostic scan with nothing to hide.
