Kerbed wheels are the Algarve's most democratic damage — cobbled towns and tight resort parking spare nobody. The good news: a scuffed wheel refinishes at €125, a fraction of replacement money, and comes back looking factory. The honest news: not every wheel type repairs the same way, and we'll tell you which yours is.
We speak English, Portuguese, Russian, Ukrainian and Spanish.
A standard painted alloy refinishes predictably: welded if needed, primed, colour-matched, lacquered — €125 per wheel. Diamond-cut wheels are the honest exception: that machined bright face can only be re-cut a limited number of times before the wheel runs out of material, and the white-worm corrosion that creeps under their lacquer needs treating early. We assess what your wheel actually is and what it can take before promising anything — sometimes a full repaint is the smarter end of a diamond-cut's life.
Wheels-off is the efficient moment for the rest: brake calipers cleaned and painted, tar and brake-dust baked onto the barrels properly removed, a ceramic coating on the faces that makes every future wash half the work. The brake reconstruction and Land Rover wheel restoration in our portfolio are exactly this package.
If one wheel is kerbed, one wheel gets repaired — colour-matching the finish to the other three is our problem, not yours. A full set refinish makes sense when the lacquer is failing everywhere or you're changing the look; we'll tell you which case you're in after seeing the wheels, not before.
