A ceramic coating locks in whatever is underneath it — good or bad. That's why every ceramic project at our Almancil studio starts with a paint-depth gauge and honest correction, and only then the coating: deep gloss, hydrophobic behaviour, easier washing and real UV resistance for the Algarve sun.
We speak English, Portuguese, Russian, Ukrainian and Spanish.
The €1,000 package is the honest base: machine polishing and ceramic protection for the body. €1,500 — the tier most clients choose — adds interior work and a stronger coating. €2,000 extends to glass and wheels. The coatings in these packages work for up to two years, kept alive by a simple 3-monthly care wash. Need longer? Coatings up to eight years exist and we fit them on request at roughly €500–600 on top of the project.
Our house system is ClearFX — the ceramic line by RestorFX — applied by certified hands, alongside System X and 3M coatings we know just as well. Around the Golden Triangle you'll also hear GTECHNIQ Crystal Serum, Gyeon quartz coatings and graphene formulas — all serious chemistry when properly applied. The honest secret of every brand is the same: preparation decides the result. A '9H' logo on a bottle can't fix paint that wasn't corrected. If you have a brand preference, tell us — we'll compare options for your car and source what fits; by default we work with the system we trust.
A coating gives gloss, chemical resistance against bird droppings, tree sap and insects, and much easier maintenance — it does not stop stone chips. On chip-prone zones the right answer is self-healing PPF, and plenty of Almancil cars leave with both: film where the road bites, ceramic everywhere else. That advice is free and sometimes it means we sell you less.
