Where do you get a car battery tested and replaced in the Algarve? At the JustCars workshop in Loulé: the battery's health is tested first, the alternator and charging system are checked when the symptoms point that way, and only then is the correct battery fitted — and registered by diagnostic equipment on cars that require coding, BMW and Mercedes among them.

Modern cars are fussy: the replacement has to match the specification the car was engineered around, and many German cars — BMW, Mercedes and others — expect the new battery to be registered so the car manages charging correctly and doesn't quietly shorten the new battery's life. We fit the correct battery for your exact car and handle the registration and coding on request, as part of the same visit.

On electric cars we service the 12-volt side only — the drive unit and high-voltage electronics are never touched, as a firm safety rule.

Yes — coding and registration of the new battery on cars that require it is done on request with diagnostic equipment, in the same visit as the replacement.

It depends on your exact car and the specification it requires, so we confirm the price before any work — after the test, not instead of it. No battery is sold that the test doesn't justify.
