Cream leather turns yellow-brown from suncream, denim and years of wear. It's one of the jobs we're known for — and yes, the seat in these photos is the same seat, re-coloured.
Light-coloured leather looks stunning — until the side bolster turns yellow-brown. It happens to almost every pale interior: suncream, dye from jeans, and years of getting in and out. The seat in these photos was exactly that. And yes — it's the same seat, re-coloured.
This is one of the jobs we're known for in the Algarve, with one of the region's most experienced leather specialists on the team. We deep-clean and prepare the leather, then re-colour it with quality, flexible materials and rebuild the finish. Over several thousand cars we've matched a huge range of colours — and in most cases you simply can't tell it was ever touched.
It's important to be honest about what this is. It is not re-upholstery, and it is not the original factory coating. It's a re-colouring solution — a very good one. With proper materials it shouldn't crack or peel, and it holds for years. How many years depends entirely on use: some cars get one, some get five. A daily driver in shorts and suncream wears faster than a weekend car.
What we promise is the same as always: we look at the seat in person first, tell you honestly what's achievable, and aim for a result that genuinely surprises you — most customers can't believe it's the same leather.
